This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) describes how Unit Technologies, Inc., a Delaware corporation (“Unit,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and otherwise processes personal information in connection with the GTV platform and any associated applications, websites, and services we make available (collectively, the “Services”). This Policy does not apply to any third-party applications or software that integrate with the Services, or any other third-party products, services, or businesses.
By accessing or using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read and understand this Policy. If you do not agree with this Policy, you should not access or use the Services. Capitalized terms not defined herein have the meanings set forth in our Terms of Service available at https://www.getgtv.com/terms.
1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT.
We collect personal information in the following categories:
1.1 Account Information. When you create an account, we collect information such as your name, email address, and profile image. Authentication is provided through a third-party identity provider, and we receive and store the account credentials and profile data necessary to provision your access to the Services.
1.2 Organization and Team Information. If you use the Services on behalf of an organization, we collect information about the organization, team membership, roles, and invitations associated with your account.
1.3 Payment Information. We use Stripe, Inc. (“Stripe”) to process payments. When you subscribe to the Services, your payment details (such as credit card number, billing address, and related financial information) are collected and processed directly by Stripe. We receive and store limited information from Stripe, including your Stripe customer identifier and subscription status. We do not store your full payment card details. Stripe's collection and use of your information is governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy, currently available at https://stripe.com/privacy.
1.4 Customer Content. We collect and store content that you upload, transmit, or generate through the Services, including inputs, outputs, images, videos, brand assets, product information, and other materials. Customer Content may contain personal information if you choose to include it.
1.5 Usage Information. We automatically collect information about how you interact with the Services, including pages visited, features used, actions taken, task types, completion rates, and other engagement metrics. This information is collected through analytics tools integrated into the Services.
1.6 Device and Technical Information. We may collect technical information such as your browser type, operating system, device identifiers, IP address, and general location information derived therefrom.
1.7 Third-Party Service Information. If you connect Third-Party Services (such as social media accounts, e-commerce platforms, or messaging tools) to the Services, we may receive information from those services, including account identifiers, access tokens, and content, in accordance with your authorization and the terms of those Third-Party Services.
1.8 Communications. We collect information you provide when you contact us for support, provide feedback, or otherwise communicate with us.
2. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION.
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
2.1 Providing the Services. To operate, maintain, and deliver the features and functionality of the Services, including processing your inputs, generating outputs, managing your account, and facilitating collaboration within your organization.
2.2 Payment Processing. To process subscriptions, manage billing, and facilitate payments through our third-party payment processor.
2.3 Improving the Services. To analyze usage patterns, diagnose technical issues, and improve the performance, reliability, and user experience of the Services. This includes the use of aggregated and de-identified Performance Data as described in our Terms of Service.
2.4 AI Processing. The Services integrate third-party artificial intelligence tools (“AI Tools”) to generate outputs in response to your inputs. Your inputs are shared with the providers of these AI Tools solely for the purpose of generating outputs. For additional details regarding AI Tools, please refer to Section 3.3 of our Terms of Service.
2.5 Communications. To send you service-related notices, respond to your inquiries, and provide customer support.
2.6 Analytics and Feature Management. To measure the effectiveness of the Services, conduct analytics, and manage feature availability through experimentation and feature-flagging tools.
2.7 Compliance and Protection. To comply with applicable laws and regulations, enforce our Terms of Service, protect the security and integrity of the Services, and protect the rights, property, or safety of Unit, our users, or others.
3. HOW WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION.
We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information in the following circumstances:
3.1 Service Providers. We share information with third-party service providers that perform services on our behalf, including payment processing, data hosting, analytics, authentication, real-time communications infrastructure, and monitoring. These providers are contractually obligated to use your information only as necessary to provide services to us.
3.2 AI Tool Providers. As described in Section 2.4, your inputs are shared with third-party AI Tool providers to generate outputs. These providers may process your inputs in accordance with their own terms and policies.
3.3 Third-Party Services. If you connect Third-Party Services to the Services (such as social media platforms or e-commerce integrations), we share information with those services as directed by you. Your use of Third-Party Services is governed by your agreement with those providers.
3.4 Legal Requirements. We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to: (a) comply with a legal obligation or valid legal process; (b) protect and defend the rights or property of Unit; (c) prevent or investigate possible wrongdoing in connection with the Services; or (d) protect the personal safety of users of the Services or the public.
3.5 Business Transfers. In connection with any merger, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets, or bankruptcy, your information may be transferred to the acquiring or successor entity.
3.6 With Your Consent. We may share your information for other purposes with your consent or at your direction.
4. DATA RETENTION.
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services. We may also retain certain information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, and for legitimate business purposes. When we no longer have a business need to process your personal information, we will either delete or de-identify it. If deletion or de-identification is not immediately possible (for example, because your information is stored in backup archives), we will securely store your information and isolate it from further processing until deletion is possible.
5. DATA SECURITY.
We implement commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, use, or disclosure, as further described in Section 6 of our Terms of Service. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. COOKIES AND SIMILAR TECHNOLOGIES.
We use local storage and similar technologies to support the functionality of the Services, including maintaining your session, remembering your preferences, and enabling analytics. We do not use tracking cookies for third-party advertising purposes.
7. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY.
The Services are not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 18, we will take steps to delete such information promptly. 8. YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS (CALIFORNIA).
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (“CPRA”), provides you with certain rights regarding your personal information:
8.1 Right to Know. You have the right to request that we disclose the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the categories of sources from which we collected it, our business or commercial purpose for collecting it, and the categories of third parties with whom we shared it.
8.2 Right to Delete. You have the right to request the deletion of your personal information, subject to certain exceptions provided by law.
8.3 Right to Correct. You have the right to request the correction of inaccurate personal information that we maintain about you.
8.4 Right to Opt Out of Sale or Sharing. We do not sell your personal information and do not share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising purposes.
8.5 Right to Non-Discrimination. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA rights.
8.6 Exercising Your Rights. To exercise any of the rights described above, please submit a request to us at privacy@getgtv.com. We will verify your identity before processing your request. You may also designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf, subject to our verification of the agent's authority and your identity.
8.7 Categories Under the CCPA. In the preceding twelve (12) months, we have collected the following categories of personal information as defined by the CCPA: (a) identifiers (such as name and email address); (b) commercial information (such as subscription and transaction records); (c) internet or other electronic network activity information (such as usage data and interaction with the Services); and (d) professional or employment-related information (such as organization and role data provided by you). We collect this information from the sources and for the purposes described in Sections 1 and 2 of this Policy.
9. INTERNATIONAL DATA.
The Services are operated from the United States. If you access the Services from outside the United States, you acknowledge that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States or other jurisdictions where our service providers operate. By using the Services, you consent to such transfer.
10. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY.
We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the “Last Modified” date at the top of this Policy and, where appropriate, by providing additional notice (such as by email). Your continued use of the Services after any changes to this Policy constitutes your acceptance of the updated Policy.
